If you choose to learn about a DMP by telephone you’ll speak with a Certified Credit
Counselor who will gather your debt information by computer through a "soft pull"
(that does not affect your credit score) and confirm the credit bureau data for
accuracy. The Counselor will analyze your income, assets and debts, then calculate
the monthly payment and length of time required to retire the debts, and with your
approval, activate the solution.
